Cherry Island is a picturesque public golf course, designed to challenge golfers of every ability level!
The course was designed by distinguished golf course architect Robert Muir Graves to challenge golfers of every ability level. The property features multiple practice greens for juniors to work on their short game skills, as well as a generous driving range with artificial and grass tees. There are four sets of tees on the course, so each golfer, whether beginning or advanced has a yardage to fit their game. Young golfers will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a supportive and fun environment. The staff at Cherry Island look forward to helping junior golfers with all aspects of their game!

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Robert Smith, PGA - Camp Director
Robert Smith has demonstrated his passion for teaching and playing for over thirty years! His skills demonstrated in teaching have awarded him the honor of Top 25 Elite Teachers of Northern CA, Southern Oregon, and Northern Nevada. Robert's teaching career spans over thousands of lessons to golfers of all ability levels. He also has worked with players on the PGA and LPGA Tour, as well as over 80 Division I collegiate athletes. Fueling his experience, Robert's prior employment included the Dave Pelz Academy, Arnold Palmer Golf Academy, and at the PGA Headquarters for Learning and Performance.
