Gate Four Golf & Country Club inspires a love of golf, with an emphasis on fun!

Gates Four Golf & Country Club is a must see 18-hole championship golf course, which features beautiful tree-lined fairways, bent-grass greens and renovated bunkers. Designed in a traditional style by acclaimed golf course architect Willard Byrd in 1967, the course underwent a remarkable redesign completed by Kris Spence in 2011. Golfers of all ages and abilities can enjoy this challenging yet fair golf course. In addition, Gates Four Golf & Country Club features a driving range and large practice green, allowing young golfers to work on all aspects of the game. The coaching team truly values junior golf, and they look forward to helping all campers learn and improve this summer!

Camp Highlights:

Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment for all. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.

Paul Brown, Camp Co-Director

Meet Coach Paul, a passionate golf coach extending a warm welcome to all golfers, both seasoned and aspiring, to join the developmental golf program at PRB-5 GOLF ACADEMY at Gates Four Golf & Country Club. He is dedicated to helping individuals grow their game through specialized Junior and Adult Classes at the facility.
Coach Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to the golfing community. A proud 2021 Golf Management graduate from Keiser University, he is also recognized as a Certified Stack and Tilt Network Coach and holds certifications as a Player and Associate Impact Zone Specialist. Paul looks forward to working with your junior golfer and helping them improve and grow their love for the sport!

Kevin Lavertu, PGA - Camp Co-Director

Kevin is originally from Biddeford, Maine and is currently the General Manager at Gates Four Golf & Country Club. During his tenure in Fayetteville he has overseen 5mm+ in renovations to the property to include an entire 18-hole course renovation, a new tennis course, an of outdoor pavilion, nature park, which has propelled Gates Four to rank within the Top 10 courses within the East Region of North Carolina ranked by the NC Golf Panel. Gates Four has been the recipient of the Reader’s Choice Award Best Golf Course, along with Upcoming Weekly Best Golf Course.
In addition, Kevin has nearly 25 years of experience operating Country Clubs throughout the Southeast in Executive Management, including stints in Tampa, FL and ...More Hilton Head, SC, as well as working for the world leader in private Clubs!
Kevin is also a Member of the PGA of America and holds the designation of Certified PGA Professional Two Star in General Management and Golf Operations. He graduated from Methodist University with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and B.S. in Marketing, along with a concentration in Professional Golf Management. Kevin serves the local Fayetteville community as a Board Member and Past President of Fayetteville Area Crimestoppers Board, as well as a current Board Member of Fayetteville Urban Ministry.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.
